The Acceptable Quality Limit, commonly referred to as AQL, is widely used as a measuring chart to check a Purchase Order. From the order quantity a sample/measure quantity is picked and inspected to check whether the entire Purchase Order has met the client's specifications. The customer is then provided with the Inspection Report to take appropriate decision whether to reject, rectify, rework or accept the shipment.
